- You can send us documents or required information via email or make an appointment to come to our office.
- The cremation will be completed once everything is in order and we will provide your death certificates.

Documents/items to have ready
- Our check out cart will ask you for your shipping address. We use this for billing/paperwork required and if we will be shipping the cremated remains via courier.
- For the deceased: Full legal name Gender SIN# Birth date Birth Place Parents names and birthplaces Occupation Address Marital status Name of spouse/ex spouse Marriage License SIN# & Birth certificate of spouse if alive
- For you: Your identification & copy of will proving you are the executor Your full legal name, address & phone number Your email to sign documents electronically
- If no will, the next of kin can make arrangements. Typically starting with the spouse followed by the children and so on. If you are concerned who's in charge we recommend obtaining legal advice before proceeding.
Remove pacemaker.
This is required if your loved one has a pacemaker.

Add a short and private family viewing or identification of the deceased. Includes closing the eyes & mouth as well as washing/dressing the deceased. Use of a viewing room will be provided at Kennedy Funeral Home Limited in Essex, Ontario.
